Ich verkaufe meinen Clay Chip Koffer. Ist alles einwandfrei, Koffer und Chips ohne Kratzer etc. Dabei 1 Dealer-Button, 1 Modiano Black Jack Jumbo Index Plastik, 1 American Poker Karten Plastik und 750 Clay Chips.

das wollte ich schon lange mal fragen: das sind doch nicht wirklich echte clay chips für den preis oder? das ist doch irgend so ein composite gemisch?
(nein, ich hab kein interesse am set, nimmt mich nur wunder...)

klar haben sie die verkäufer unter clay eingereiht, da laufen sie ja auch besser.
wie gesagt, für den preis kann ich es mir kaum vorstellen. die chips sind dennoch sicher okay und als einsteigerset toll.
eine andere frage: hast du nicht selber "echte" clays? vergleich sie doch mal, würde mich interessieren.
dennoch ein interessanter hinweis:

If a chip is for sale for less than 75 cents per chip, it’s not likely an authentic casino chip. Weight is the second tip off. The standard weight of authentic casino chips is (drum roll please) between 8.5 and 10 grams. Every chip you’ll find in Las Vegas is in this weight range. Other than that, your best bet is to go with a trusted vendor as it's often difficult for a newbie to tell what a true clay poker chip is and what is not unless they can compare it directly to a chip brought home from a casino. Unfortunately, the poker chip retail industry is teeming with unscrupulous vendors who sell low-end plastic chips and call them "clay composite" or something of that nature. Be careful.

und noch was zum thema: die "texas hold'em" chips, die gamblerstore als clay chips verkauft (im katalog gerade oberhalb der hier vorgestellten), sind ebenfalls keine clay, sondern composite! das ist in diversen reviews bei einschlägigen sammlerseiten zu lesen.
ich habe den link einem sammler zukommen lassen und bin auf sein urteil gespannt. ich behaupte: nein, sind keine clay!

Also ich hab ja auch ein Sample von den Chips zu Hause. Ich find sie sehen nicht schlecht aus und sind auch gut verarbeitet. Aber mit echten Clays wie Paulsons etc. sind die auf keinen Fall vergleichbar.
