Es ist faszinierend, was die Welt der Technik hergibt, wie etwa diesen Wireless Poker Controller: Ein Controller, der extra dazu entwickelt wurde, “effizient online pokern zu können”, wie der Hersteller Poker Controls Ltd. sagt. Entspannung ist in jedem Fall dabei; kabellos geht es ans Online-Pokern. Wer dabei bequem sitzen möchte, ist mit diesem Funk-Controller sicherlich richtig beraten.
Der Preis ist noch unbekannt, allerdings werden 1.000 dieser Controller verschenkt. Dafür registriert man sich auf der Internetpräsenz und hat hoffentlich dasselbe Glück, wie demnächst beim Pokern. Mit Batterien betrieben, soll das Gerät die unhandliche Tastatur und die Maus ersetzen. Sämtliche Poker-Tasten sind verfügbar: Check, Call, Raise, Fold, Nets mit zwei, drei oder fünf Big Blinds und Pot Size Bet. Per Pfeiltasten kann der Mehrtisch-Spieler die Tische wechseln. Automatisiert können die Bets festgelegt werden und ein All-in-Button fehlt auch nicht. Per Wireless-USB-Stick funkt der Controller mit dem PC, sodass auf den Plattformen der Partner, Party-Poker, Full Tilt Poker und Ladbrockspoker, gespielt werden kann.
Sicherlich wird der Wireless Poker Controller auf den ersten Blick als nette Spielerei belächelt, Online-Poker-Spieler werden aber zu schätzen wissen, wie entspannt es sich damit wahrscheinlich spielen lässt. Eine Marktnische scheint damit sicherlich getroffen zu sein.

Naja, mal als Abwechslung sicher nett. Aber der Kontrolle vermutlich nicht sehr förderlich...Naja ich hab mich trotzdem mal regged, wenn ich einen gewinne sag ich auch nicht nein

Wenn es nicht nur ein Spielzeug ist, sondern technisch brauchbar umgesetzt ist, dann könnte es durchaus brauchbar sein. Es erinnert mich mit den verschiedenen Tasten irgendwie an TableNinja.

gibt bereits jetzt einige leute, welche mit gamecontroller multitablen. wenns sauber umgesetzt wird, könnte es sehr angenehm sein.

Heute habe ich vom Hersteller noch einpaar Zusatzinformationen zum Poker Controller erhalten:
Das Device soll in den nächsten 90 Tagen offiziell auf den Markt kommen. Der Preis soll dann bei rund $69.99 liegen, was für mein Empfinden eigentlich ein günstiger Preis ist -> must have! Jede brauchbare kabellose Maus kostet mehr. Einige Pokerrooms werden den Poker Controller dann auch in Verbindung mit Promotionen anbieten.
