habe mir im 2+2 über die letzten Wochen einige Tips zu Vegas rausgepickt. will die euch nicht vorenthalten:

Bestes Preis-Steak Verhältnis am bzw. in der Nähe vom Strip:

Mr. Lucky's @ Hard Rock: steak specials are there are great deals. Neither are on the menu, ask your server.

Für Durstige, die gerne im Pool die Kante geben:
VooDoo Beach @ Rio: 65$ (mo-do) bzw 100$ (fr-so) for open bar wristband (all you can drink), ab 12 mittag bis 7 abends

Besonders actionreiche NLH low-stake runde:
Thursday crazy 1/3 nlh @ palms, with Mississippi straddle…

Bester nicht-alkoholischer (gratis)-Drink im Pokerroom:
Strawberry julius – strawberry smoothie @ bellagio pokerroom

Lecker Sandwich:
Earl of Sandwich – Planet Hollywood (dort kann man mit Comps zahlen)

Bestes Frühstücksbuffet:
Bellagio Breakfast Buffet @ 15$, by far the best deal in Town

Party mit vielen Locals und open-Bar:
the rodeo bar in PH, the one that faces the strip. Every Tuesday is college night, 10 bucks for guys, 5 for girls, all you can drink 9-12 with a college ID. It was 20/10 with no college ID. Pretty solid deal.

Nice Pool ohne Entry-cover:
There is a pool area at the Cosmopolitan on a roof area that has free pool and ping pong.

Snack zwischen durch im Ballys:
$2 tacos at the margarita bar in ballys

Alkohol kaufen in Vegas:
Inside planet Hollywood mall there is an ABC store with much more reasonable prices. They will sell hard alcohol from fiths to 60 oz. bottles. There is also an ABC store in Fashion show mall across from Wynn as well. Another downtown on freemont next to Golden Nugget.

aktuelle infos zu CG/tourneys:
Wynn hat eine iphone app, auf der aktuelle cashgames und wartelisten ersichtlich sind. aria und caesars twittern entsprechende infos.

Anleitung, wie man (fast) gratis zu einem besseren Zimmer kommt, als man gebucht hat:

This is what I use when getting upgraded:

You: "Hi i'm checking in",

Check in person: Welcome to XYZ Hotel Mr. So and So.

You: "Thank You, I have a reservation for 123 nights, by any chance are there any complimentary upgrades available? I HAVE NO PROBLEM TAKING CARE OF YOU PERSONALLY FOR WHATEVER YOU CAN DO FOR ME, I'D MUCH RATHER PUT A NICE TIP IN YOUR POCKET THEN EXTRA MONEY FOR XYZ HOTEL, WE BOTH KNOW THEY DON'T NEED IT HAHAHAHA"!

The bolded part works like a charm and I always use it. No need to fold up a $20 bill between your CC and ID. That's very amateur.

Tell them straight up you will be more then happy to take care of them and they will do whatever they can possibly do. For extra consideration you can tell them it's your wifes birthday, your anniversary, anniversary of the first time you went backdoor on your wife, etc.....

Ask them to show you what the room looks like, they usually have a brochure showing the different rooms at the front desk.

After they hand you the keys to a nice room then give them the tip, be it $10,$20, $25, $30, $50 or $100. For a North Tower Diamond floor room at Ballys, $10 bucks is plenty and they always graciously thank me.
